There’s a bucket list item of mine. Converting an old SKS with wood stocks to a detachable mag unit and a few other mods in lieu of just buying an AK. I almost did it, but got too good a deal on my AR to take the Nestea Plunge. Maybe someday.
I take ‘em the other way. Buy ‘em like the one pictured, and make ‘em “right.”
