Nice. However he is essentially guaranteeing that Trump will never appoint another SCOTUS justice. If someone actually met Hawley’s criteria there will be an army of ‘pro-life’ GOP ready to reject him over it. On the other hand, if Trump offers someone up who doesn’t pass Hawley’s litmus test his vote probably will be enough to tank the nominee.
So am I. What a VAST improvement over the odious Claire McCaskill. Thank you, Missouri voters! :-)
Josh Hawley and Tom Cotton top my list for Best U.S. Senator.
Someone get the smelling salts for Snowe, Murkowski and 25 other republicans.
Better, by still not good enough.
We’ve been sold out by Reagan (Sandra Day O’Connor, Bush I (Souter) Bish II (Roberts, and an attempted sell out with Harriet Meyers). These betrayals led to the murder of tens of millions of innocent persons.
Saying that Row v Wade was “wrongly decided” would be nice, but we need a nominee who says the full truth.
He needs to say something like this:
“I agree with Mr Justice Thomas who wrote ‘The Jurisprudence of this Court has NO BASIS in the Constitution of the United States’
Moreover, The 14th Amendment’s guarantee of equal protection of the laws for all persons clearly mean that any law that restricts or prohibits murder also applies fully to abortion.”
Roger that
(We should be doing that anyway)
His two adopted kids....plus he might be bi-sexual.
His two adopted kids....plus he might be bi-sexual.
Let’s gt the word out and make him accountable for his actions. There has to be proof somewhere - make it public.
Where have you been for a decade?? The NYT did a story about this when he was nominated.
Whatever we have been doing is not working. Time to use smarter tactics.
And quickly spiked it, saying they wouldn't invade his privacy and wouldn't subvert the secrecy of adoption records. It seemed at the time that the NYT was exercising responsible journalism. In hindsight, it seems suspicious. The NYT cares not a whit about the privacy of republicans, yet just this one time, they spike an investigation? Google has been mostly scrubbed of references to the NYT story.
Regardless, both of the children have been legal adults for over a year, yet no one has any interest in looking into the legality of the adoption of Irish children through South America, which was illegal...
He stated hes tired of the lip service. You seem to agree with that.
