Monday on ABCs The View, former Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel (D) compared athletes kneeling during the national anthem in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement to congregants kneeling at religious services.
Co-host Whoopi Goldberg said, We were talking earlier in the show about athletes taking a knee, and someone told me you had a change of heart on this. What did they mean?

Words had to change their ordinary meaning and to take that which was now given them. Reckless audacity came to be considered the courage of a loyal ally; prudent hesitation, specious cowardice; moderation was held to be a cloak for unmanliness; ability to see all sides of a question, inaptness to act on any. Frantic violence became the attribute of manliness; cautious plotting, a justifiable means of self-defence. The advocate of extreme measures was always trustworthy; his opponent a man to be suspected.

Veterans may salute. I do at military funerals I’ve attended and have noticed other vets did too.
It’s much simpler. Athletes kneeling during the National Anthem can KMA. Screw their sport and their salary. Hope you end up starving.
Hatred for America is a religious doctrine of the Democrat “established” church.
"I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color."
Of course salute in lieu of hand over heart by vets and active military shows respect.
Great conundrum posed by your post #34.
Blow it out your A$$ Rahm!
