Tropical Storm Hanna has developed in the Central Gulf of Mexico. All interests along the Texas Gulf Coast should be prepared for deteriorating weather conditions over the next 24 hours. Hanna is expected to strengthen before making landfall.

biggest threat will be flooding ..10+ inches over wide area from Brownsville west up the Rio Grande to Lake Falcon by monday morning
then early next week lots of moisture still around for a couple more inches
Area has been dry this month but not in a drought with a very wet June
Also Heavy rains will fall over the Rio Grande watershed over NE Mexico above Falcon Lake filling up the flood control lakes for any more storms later
