Monday marks day 54 of protests in Louisville, following the shooting death of Breonna Taylor. One group is taking that protest further with a hunger strike.
They began their strike on a Facebook Live today at noon.
The people who have been out protesting decided they needed to do more. The participants say they want to re-energize the protests but amplify that they’re hungry for justice.
For the past several weeks, around Louisville we’ve all heard these protesters’ voices. As of Monday, they want us to hear their hunger. There’s only one thing that they say will satisfy them.
“We just want justice; however that is going to look and whatever the outcome,” Amira Bryant said. Bryant is one of the four people who have volunteered to go on the hunger strike.

These people (the “protestors”) have worked hard to make a lot of lives miserable. Do they not realize that there a number of people that would be happy to see them starve.

I hope that someone stands near their location with really good smelling food.
The options could be endless... coffee, donuts, bacon, pancakes w/ butter and syrup in the morning. crunchy tacos, bbq steak sandwiches, grilled corn on the cob, big green salad for lunch. Then for dinner... well you all get the idea.
And don’t forget dessert... break out BBQs & the dutch ovens to make dump cake, then smores and popcorn as the finale.

Except Bobby Sands actually starved himself to death; that’s not gonna happen with any of this claque.
It will be over the second someone lights a joint. They will have the munchies in a matter of minutes.
