This makes me sad, as it reminds me of my 93 year old grandma when she was in the dementia ward telling us how the nurses were stealing her pills. Accusations of pill and other stealing by the nurses are, in my opinion, confirmation of dementia. Also, telling another patient about my Grandfather being a missionary in South America and going down a river or in and being shot at with poison arrows or darts or spears by the natives and having the old lady respond, “Oh, that’s nice”. That’s when I realized that something was wrong with the lady and discovered that this was the dementia ward.

A side note, the natives couldn’t hit him though and they went and found a translator and confronted him with “We don’t miss! Who is protecting you?” And that is how my Grandfather and other missionaries with him were able to spread the gospel to these tribes.
