Miami, the area of Florida hit hardest by the Chinese coronavirus, is doubling down on its mask order, reportedly deploying a team of dedicated police officers to enforce the requirements.
Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez announced the updated mask order on July 1, requiring masks “in all public spaces inside and outdoors throughout Miami-Dade County.” The order essentially expanded on his April mask order, requiring coverings to be worn outdoors “with few exceptions

I wear a n95 in indoor public places. I will refuse to wear a mask outdoors when I am socially distancing. I went hiking today and did not wear a mask, I just moved to the side of the trail if someone was coming toward me. This rule sounds like something Gov Inslee would enact. I will be hopping mad if he does, and I will refuse to abide by such a silly rule.

This is what the mayor wrote:
“The amendment to this order that I plan to sign will expand on the use of masks outdoors, which have been required when social distancing of six feet is not possible. The amendment will now require masks to always be used outdoors with few exceptions. The exclusions to the use of masks apply only to those with respiratory conditions that make it difficult to cover their mouth and nose, people doing strenuous activities, such as jogging, and children under the age of 2, as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control.”
I simply don’t see how this is enforceable on a wide scale. So if someone is along in their front yard and let’s say 20 feet away from anyone else - THEY have to wear a mask? Why? What is the MEDICAL reasoning for that?
Maybe that’s the true purpose of the unit.
These politicians are idiots. I was camping at a state park, and the park covered 2 of three sinks in the bathroom to enforce social distancing. Therefore, you have to wait in line to wash your hands, which makes people just give up and leave, not washing their hands. Or they wait while toilets flush, aerosolizing the virus.. I made a complaint to the park administration. It was a stupid decision.
