At least three federal officers in Portland may not recover their vision after earlier this week demonstrators, who have shown up in crowds of over 1,000 for more than 50 consecutive nights, shined lasers in their eyes and threw fireworks at a federal courthouse, officials said.
During Monday night's confrontation, one person also threatened to cut off the water supply to federal officers inside the building.
Federal Protective Service (FPS) Deputy Director of Operations Richard “Kriss” Cline said at a press conference on Tuesday that a crowd of more than 1,000 “rioters” surrounded the Hatfield Federal Courthouse and began removing plywood coverings before attempting to throw objects – some of them incendiary – through the windows at federal officers inside.

Supposedly our military has a microwave crowd control weapon that makes you feel like your skin is on fire. Time to bring it out of storage.

The feds need to start by arresting the state officials who are abrogating their oaths and aiding and abetting the unlawful rioters. Then local police can start arresting the rioters.

I’ve read that the Israelis use snipers for crowd control. Trow something potentially lethal, and you get shot in the knee with a .22 round.
The rioters are so very predictable... I wonder how long until military tactics are used against them and they’re all rounded up simultaneously... Hopefully with a lot of German Shepherds helping
Every single one of those 1,000 people in the crowd are responsible for the officers' injuries. None of them move away when the violence occurs. They are ALL rioters. Every single one of them.
I think this is the first article from FOX news that properly referred to criminals as “rioters” instead of the inaccurate term “protesters”.
What did they expect? If they’ll loot, burn down and vandalize entire cities, they’ll point a laser in your face. Does law enforcement not understand this is an old tactic of these anarchist?
My recommendation would be to stop kissing these people’s asses before they start shooting cops en-mass, taking hostages and graduating to car bombs, etc.
It is time to do what ever it takes.
Until someone loses an eye....really happened.
And watch them start crying as soon as it happens. Pretending they are victims just ‘protesting’ and exercising their 1st Amendment rights.
