The thing is that the bitching Karens are wearing masks. So if masks are so effective, then they’re perfectly safe — behind their mask. What others do, or don’t do, is irrelevant. It just gives them some pseudo permission to let their inner bullies out.

I am the most anti mask guy in the world; the entire concept of it strikes me as lunacy...I have never believed it is my duty to tell anyone anything about masks, other than to get out of my face about it...but thanks for participating...
Yes. Neither extremist position looks good. Both look kind of bonkers. Someone you try not to make eye contact with.
There are two groups in the middle. One who wears masks and sees a benefit. Some to keep their jobs, others to shop, and others who think they have some preventive value.
The other group believes that masks are not useful, can be detrimental and that mask mandates are executive overreach.
