You can thank education. A few weeks ago a teacher called into Rush, explained that he is conservative and has to keep quiet about it otherwise his job would be in jeopardy. He said everyday the students are required to watch a half hour of CNN IN the classroom and he says they usually watch more than that because multiple classes will have them watch it. They actually have TVs in the classroom and they force the kids to listen to BS by Don Lemon and Fredo Cuomo.
No form of socialism has EVER kept any promise it made, except to make people “equal”. Not equal before the law, of which there is very little in any socialist system beyond “That is not permitted”, to very draconian measures if anything that is not permitted is detected by the designated authority, or snitch neighbors.
But equal in misery, poverty, and very low self-esteem, willing to comply if it makes the misery a little less.
Death camps do not look like a bad alternative at that point.
But hey, any command-and-control regime does appear at first to be highly “efficient”.
All these regimes end up the same way - a highly militaristic society in which there is a Maximum Leader, a rigid and disciplined hierarchy of well-armed soldiers/policemen, and the masses who live in virtual slavery, subject to every stricture that comes down from the top.
Every one of these Millennials who have embraced “Democratic Socialism” personally believes he or she will end up either as Maximum Leader or very high in the hierarchy of the disciplinary corps. Big s’prise coming.
They will be quickly knocked off by the more aggressive youngsters who follow.
Something Darwinian about that. And not in a good way.

Burriel is part of a growing group of young people who say they hate capitalism...............but they also love everything that capitalism provides them: smartphones, tablets, the internet, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, clothes, cars, food, pretty much everything they take for granted.
Oh, for Burriel all bought and paid for by someone else. His parents.
Nobody over the age of 25 honestly thinks that socialism/communism works.
By the age of 25, you have run into enough lazy, lying, thieving bastards to know that they make up a good portion of humanity.
You have also not met as many good samaritans as you’d like to see.
You realize that the lazy, lying, thieving bastards are not going to hold up their end of “From each according to his abilities”, and they are going to try to take way more than “To each according to his needs”.
Way too many people suck for socialism/communism to work.

In capitalism, affluence trickles down, and in socialism, poverty creeps up.
But they’ve never experienced socialism. Must the rest of us suffer in order to teach them?
The propaganda that is being pushed out is that Gen Z is all about socialism. That isn’t what I have been experiencing. I have witnessed some mind blowing knowledge and political sophistication coming out of the mouths of these babes.
They have been indoctrinated for their entire lives by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Propaganda.
They basically want to retire at 18 on someone else dime and time.
They don’t care that Grandpa and Grandma spent 35-40 years of their life working their ass off. They just want their stuff and money.
If they support socialism, they should be able to explain socialism. I will be willing to bet that they can only regurgitate the brochure version of the definition. They don’t know what is at the end of the rainbow.
The class had insisted that socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer. The professor then said, “OK, we will have an experiment in this class on socialism.”
All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A. After the first test the grades were averaged and everyone got a B.
The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy.
But, as the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided that since they could not make an A, they studied less.
The second Test average was a D! No one was happy.
When the 3rd test rolled around the average was an F. The scores never increased as bickering, blame, name calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for anyone else.
All failed to their great surprise and the professor told them that socialism would ultimately fail because the harder people try to succeed the greater their reward but when a government takes all the reward away; no one will try or succeed.
It's not an accident...........
The truth is, it’s the schools.. We have been completely infiltrated by commies at the university level.. They are the ones that teach our teachers and they, in turn, pass the pap along to the young folks.. And that is precisely why the democrats are so opposed to any sort of independent school system...

Whose been running the country for 50 years? Boomers! Completely destroyed the place. The young cannot be blamed for this mess. This is all on the baby boomers.
