Yes, I fell in love with Irish dancing myself. I wish it would become a fad. However, it is rhythmnic and involves training and discipline, not the seizure-like contortions that are confused with dancing that have been popular for some time.

“I fell in love with Irish dancing myself.

Next time you visit Disney World, get dinner reservations to Raglan Road in the downtown area. Been there a couple of times and the dance never bores, the food is Irish and well prepared, and the service is good. Since you’re a fan, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. And expect crowds, they are busy.

They start them out very young. By the time they get to Riverdance stage they’ve been doing it for years.

Didn’t anybody else wonder how they got away with using the word “jigs”? I thought there were a whole bunch of words people were not allowed to use any more.

She’s made it her own. Maybe that’s what people don’t like, but that is art. Each artist changes it a bit.

I saw a black teenage band in last year’s Veterans’ Day parade. There were only drums. No other instruments. And the kids were running all over the place while marching, in planned formations. They made it their own.
