My biggest concern about the current protest/riots is the lack of counter-demonstrations. The left can get thousands in the streets, we get barely get a few dozen Italians defending a statue of Columbus. We shouldn’t need the cops and national guard to fight these traitors. Depending on the cops and paramilitary just tells leftists that Americans are unwilling to defend their Country, freedom and way of life. It only encourages the left and allows them to claim they are “oppressed”. We need to peacefully get in the streets and only fight if we are attacked. That will show the people there is significant opposition to this “insurrection”

Before we get to the point of this going hot maybe we should be doing things to disrupt the narrative:
Cut cable tv. CNN gets half of its revenue from subscriber fees. If you have cable tv, you are funding the narrative.
Buy generic/local. The LEFT media needs national name brand advertising to survive. Plus most of those name brands are woke.
Support businesses that push back against the narrative.
Displaying or showing a weapon as a warning is probably the largest “defensive use” of a gun in statistics that track defensive use of guns. It is one of the reasons the CDC had to revise their numbers on this, IIRC. Defensive use of guns far exceeds the numbers on gun violence.

So THIS is why the Left is so upset with the NRA!
Buy guns - more than you think you, your wife, your kids, your neighbors, and your dogs could possibly need.
[Do NOT get your cat a gun!]
Buy ammo - a lot more than you think you could possibly need, then triple that amount.
Buy accessories - consider lasers, new optics, etc.; find holsters you like (good luck on that one) and then make sure you have safe and convenient access to self defense when walking, driving, at home, etc.
Get lots of practice - range time should include taking the safety off every time you pick up your firearm if you carry/store with the safety on.
Maybe a “We don’t wear masks” sign would do the trick. The Left seems to be deathly afraid of that.
