Federal Law Enforcement Use Unmarked Vehicles To Grab Protesters Off Portland Streets

Federal law enforcement officers have been using unmarked vehicles to drive around downtown Portland and detain protesters since at least July 14. Personal accounts and multiple videos posted online show the officers driving up to people, detaining individuals with no explanation of why they are being arrested, and driving off.

Pettibone and O’Shea both said they couldn’t think of anything they might have done to end up targeted by law enforcement. They attend protests regularly but they said they aren’t “instigators.” They don’t spray paint buildings, shine laser pointers at officers or do anything else other than attend protests, which law enforcement have regularly deemed “unlawful assemblies.”

Well... that's the thing about these violent protests- the organizers recruit the young and stupid to do the dirty work that's liable to result in arrests, promising them legal aide and knowing that those recruited are young enough that their records will be washed...while the organizers keep their hands clean back in the shadows just directing things. Clean hands are not evidence of innocence but they are hallmarks of the devious. Hitler never got any soot on his hands from the oven doors.

That video you talk about...was a staged event by Antifa. The ‘military’ guy was simply an actor. I watched the same production piece. I do agree...a white Antifa person (maybe an actress as well) was ‘grabbed’.

It’s great as a theatrical production, but more or less fake. There are literally dozens of these fake ‘moments’ that come up via Twitter or YouTube, and convey some message.

There has never been a time when the phrase “they brought it on themselves” has been more true or more appropriate. The Feds identify the terrorists, get Federal warrants, and detain the perpetrators. No bail, as they are all flight risks. At the very least, they are off the streets. Charge them with multiple Federal felonies, and we await the many trials.

If the government conducts arrests or detentions without presenting ID or a badge then it leaves a huge hole to be exploited by bad actors, even foreign governments, to create more unrest and outrage by making very public “fake arrests” that no one can distinguish from legitimate arrests.

I notice that these ‘unidentified men’ making the ‘arrests,’ like the street theater “guardsmen” early on in the rioting, always seem to have a problem finding matching uniforms or wearing their gear in a consistent way. There is in fact, an awful lot of inconsistency in equipment and dress that seems ...unprofessional, as if it is a production staged by a hired street theater company on a tight budget. One guy in the photos is wearing VC black like he forgot his uniform was at the cleaners and had to go to work in his pajamas.

If the feds were really interested in secrecy I guarantee there are ways to bag people -literally in burlap- without doing it in front of morons with cell phones.
