For 46 nights, downtown Portland has been the scene out of a post-apocalyptic graphic novel with shadowy black-clad, tattooed antifa and Black Lives Matter rioters taking hammers and skateboards to bash-in the windows of banks, public buildings, and the heads of federal officers. But now the Portland mayor says the riots are President Trump’s fault.
The Mark O. Hatfield Justice Center, Portland’s federal courthouse, has been under siege nearly every night by rioters attempting to bash in the doors, set fires, and loot it.

But, sure, Mayor Ted Wheeler says it’s all President Donald Trump’s fault for “escalating” the already-occurring riots because he was “heavy-handed” in keeping the federal courthouse from getting sacked.

They are not clueless, I don’t think. They have been brought up and trained since childhood to now adulthood to deflect blame to some one else or some other excuse for their own screwups.

This is why it’s best for Trump to just let these cities fail on their own. Even the slow-witted are beginning to figure out that the leaders they thought would give them free stuff and end all social ills are actually Marxist goofballs.

I would like to see the Feds plan and execute an enveloping maneuver with 1000s of national guard to capture the entire nightly group of rioters, charging each one in Federal court.
Then, if more show up, let them continue to riot in Portlandia as long as they leave the Federal courthouse alone. In fact, I would like to see that very much along with the entire police department resigning. The people of Oregon deserve to live in a war zone of their own choosing.
Not clueless Low just keeping up the fight. Wish we would return fire but I gave up that hope since I had to start riding my yard tractor to get around my place. I play defense only now.
Hoping that the America-hating rioters attack this man’s office and he calls the White House for help.
