Missouri attorney Mark McCloskey, who along with his wife Patricia brandished legally-owned firearms when confronted by Black Lives Matter protesters at their St. Louis home last month, told "Tucker Carlson Tonight" Monday that "the rumor is that we are going to be indicted shortly" over the incident.
Last week, authorities executed a search warrant at the McCloskeys' home in connection with the June 28 incident. Mark McCloskey told host Tucker Carlson that the officers were "almost apologetic" when they served the warrant.
"They didn't want to have to be there. They were doing their job. Patty wanted to take a picture to document it and she asked if they wouldn't mind facing away from the camera so that people wouldn't get mad at them if their faces were shown on TV," he said. "They all did so.

That’s what I keep saying about the police. There re trained to “obey lawful orders.” They don’t care about your rights. They see me and you as “the enemy.” If their orders follow the chain of command, then that’s all the “lawful” they need.
That does seem inconsistent with any right to open carry.
Consider, however, you are shopping at Costco and someone has a holstered weapon; ok, so what.
Now suppose that person has a weapon pointed at you or even is simply waving the weapon in the air.

That depends entirely on the whim of the judge. Most will allow a prosecutor to try novel theories of law, and allow the case to go to trial. The courts and the DA are more or less in cahoots. Two parts of the same system - government, by and for the government.

My immediate instinct is to recruit them for pro bono work for Republican activists. GOP needs a lawyers’ group that serves the same function as the National Lawyers Guild does for Dems.
