A King County Superior Court judge has approved a petition for an election to recall Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan, opening the door for a campaign that’s gained steam over the last several weeks.

This will be interesting to watch. It must be hard to argue the Mayor's decisions when there's murder, vandalism, rioting, etc. to explain away.

My prediction is that if they get the signatures needed for a recall election, she’s history. She’ll be dumped by a combination of two groups of voters: those who realize that she’s an incompetent mayor, and those who don’t think she’s radical enough.
