So all the “smart folks” behave like sheep and just do as they’re told? Is that the lesson?

Whelp. That’s a useless article. Studied 9 people. The premise is overly simplistic. Just dumb. Just because you can couch your thoughts in scientific language and rhetoric doesn’t make your thought’s relevant. Why did you post this familyop? Kind of dumb really. I hope you posted this as sarcasm. Because the article is. Dumb. Sorry. It’ just really dumb. I am trying to like it. But it’s just dumb.

What a useless bit of drivel. Stupid study in psychology, which has too many variables to make the conclusion of any use. Then stupid reporting of the study, with none of the obvious questions answered.

“This decision critically relies on our mental capacity in retaining multiple pieces of potentially conflicting information in our head, which is referred to as working memory capacity,”

No, this decision critically relies on blind obedience, the ability to accept, without question, dictates and explanations from authority that conflict with logic, common sense, and previous dictates and explanations that have been dropped down the memory hole. To manifest that ability, working memory must be either suppressed or absent.

First of all, any imbecile knows there's nothing "social" about asking people to stay 6 ft apart.

It isn't "social distancing" it's ANTI-social distancing and most of you fell for it.

Another bit of lunacy. If everyone is wearing a mask, why do they require 6ft spacing?...Most of you fell/are falling for that too.

AND if you're wearing a mask, why do I need one?

Maybe I'm not that smart. I'm just grouchy and avoid idiots - and COVID brought out the idiots.

This is the start of segregation of new world classes. The compliant vs the non compliant. Non compliant have phsycological problems. They must be seperated from the compliant.

Thanks for posting this!

I study memory, and I'd never heard of "working memory" or "working memory capacity" before.

Makes a lot of sense with the things that I know.

Jesus touched the untouchable spoke to the unspeakable. Of course they want to shred any last remains of unity we have. It makes it much easier to allow gorsch and co to do their evil.

I would like to see a study comparing the effectiveness in reducing CV19 for vitamin D verses face masks and social distancing. I would not be surprised if vitamin D would win.

At least 75% of people are deficient in D. D is important for maintaining a healthy immune system. I think the central planners are a$$es for ignoring this.

LOL: “This decision critically relies on our mental capacity in retaining multiple pieces of potentially conflicting information in our head, which is referred to as working memory capacity,” study author Weizhen Xie (Zane) told PsyPost.”

I believe that this type of cognitive dissonance is called ‘double-think’ in the book “1984”. So these guys are telling us that people with higher intellect cannot recognize and challenge two conflicting facts, indicating that at least one must be false, possibly both.

That is indeed what the deep state considers to be ‘intelligent’, just like up is down, black is white and bad is good. Go media. We really believe you.
