Fox News ^ | July 12, 2020 | Frank Miles

The study, "Working memory capacity predicts individual differences in social-distancing compliance during the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States," assessed the working memory, personality, mood and fluid intelligence of test subjects; the researchers surveyed 850 U.S. residents between March 13 and March 25..."The decision of whether or not to follow social distancing guidelines is a difficult one,...This decision critically relies on our mental capacity in retaining multiple pieces of potentially conflicting information in our head, which is referred to as working memory capacity," study author Weizhen Xie (Zane) told PsyPost.

First of all, any imbecile knows there's nothing "social" about asking people to stay 6 ft apart.

It isn't "social distancing" it's ANTI-social distancing and most of you fell for it.

Another bit of lunacy. If everyone is wearing a mask, why do they require 6ft spacing?...Most of you fell/are falling for that too.

AND if you're wearing a mask, why do I need one?

Maybe I'm not that smart. I'm just grouchy and avoid idiots - and COVID brought out the idiots.

This is the start of segregation of new world classes. The compliant vs the non compliant. Non compliant have phsycological problems. They must be seperated from the compliant.

I was going to comment but social distance posting rules prohibit more than 10 people on a thread and I want to save lives.

bigbob wins the thread!

Thanks for posting this!

I study memory, and I'd never heard of "working memory" or "working memory capacity" before.

Makes a lot of sense with the things that I know.

Governments and business managers have always wanted compliance, though.

Jesus touched the untouchable spoke to the unspeakable. Of course they want to shred any last remains of unity we have. It makes it much easier to allow gorsch and co to do their evil.

That is me to a tee. I can stay on my ranch doing my thing for months on end. Everything I need is here so why should I mingle with the masses who cannot be trusted.

Well, they ARE saying this is hitting minorities worst - and they seem to be the ones ignoring common-sense guidelines.

Let’s just say the smart people are taking less risks...

I would like to see a study comparing the effectiveness in reducing CV19 for vitamin D verses face masks and social distancing. I would not be surprised if vitamin D would win.

At least 75% of people are deficient in D. D is important for maintaining a healthy immune system. I think the central planners are a$$es for ignoring this.

LOL: “This decision critically relies on our mental capacity in retaining multiple pieces of potentially conflicting information in our head, which is referred to as working memory capacity,” study author Weizhen Xie (Zane) told PsyPost.”

I believe that this type of cognitive dissonance is called ‘double-think’ in the book “1984”. So these guys are telling us that people with higher intellect cannot recognize and challenge two conflicting facts, indicating that at least one must be false, possibly both.

That is indeed what the deep state considers to be ‘intelligent’, just like up is down, black is white and bad is good. Go media. We really believe you.
