Won’t make a difference.
Another far-left democrat will take her place, and then, more of the same.
Seattle might as well be Venezuela, or Hong Kong. Gone to hell.

Someone even farther left will replace her. She is considered a moderate by Seattle standards.

Do you suppose they (the citizens) are wanting to recall her because she’s not liberal/bat shat crazy enough?
Just confirming.

There is no Juliani available for the voters in Seattle, nor even in NYC, or anywhere else that liberals made sure that they were in control. It’s going to take a miracle to turn any of those liberal cities around.
The petition for recall was NOT signed by the majority of voters in Seattle, therefore, they’ll get another liberal just like the one that MAY get recalled. She’s not out yet, and may not be.

Outside signatures?
Then....it will be null and void?

True dat. Durkan is probably the least left of anyone in Seattle government. Look at the troubles Trump has in trying to herd cats in D.C.

But remember when she criticized Trump and said it was a summer of love. Trump curse.

How is getting rid of this idiot any better than her replacement? The mayor pro tem is the Seattle City Council President Lorena Gonzalez who was the one who wanted to 100% defund the police. So get rid of Hitler and replace her with Stalin. Need to terminal all of the Seattle government for incompetence and try them all for conspiracy for encouraging sedition

The aches and pains suffered by the city of Seattle are deserved. The people have opted for anarchy and it has bitten them in the a$$! I hope the pain lasts for a long time.
No sympathy in this quarter. I won’t go there again.
Last time, I stayed at the “Edgewater,” cool place but still in Seattle. Columbia Tower Club? Nice views but never again. Pike Street Market? You can have your Gooey Duck Clams, I’ll stay home!

KOMO reported that the plaintiffs behind the petition would have to collect 50,000 signatures before an election can be held.
50,000 petition signers is not the majority of voters in the city. A petition doesn't require the majority of voters to sign it, and oftentimes, it can be signed by non-voters. A petition does not reflect the feelings of the majority of voters. For all we know, the majority of voters or residents, might be against the petition.

Ah, the famous Edgewater! Where the Mighty Led Zepplin fished from their room’s bayside windows and used the catch to create new and unusual tricks..... with their gal pals!

From the excerpt, this recall effort has been mounted because she’s not left-wing enough.
