During an interview with Noticias Telemundo released on Friday, President Trump stated that Something will be happening with Venezuela and that the United States will be very much involved. Trump also vowed to take care of the people of Venezuela and support whoever the people of Venezuela elect and support as their leader.
Host Jose Diaz-Balart asked, For you, Venezuela, is it Guaido, is it Maduro, is it U.S. intervention?
Trump responded, Its freedom for their people. Its freedom. Venezuela was a rich country 15 years ago, and its been destroyed by two people, but a system, a horrible system. And something will happen with Venezuela. Thats all I can tell you. Something will be happening with Venezuela.
Diaz-Balart then asked, Through the United States?
Trump responded, Well be very much involved.
Diaz-Balart then questioned Trump on if he is still supporting Guaido, and Trump responded that he supports whoever the people of Venezuela support and elect and that Guaido appears to be the person who was elected, but he appears to be losing power due to the problems in Venezuelas system.
Trump further stated, Were going to take care of the people of Venezuela.

I’m with you the whole way. We can’t let the commies takeover here no matter what.
Why volunteer ANY Info about what may occur in the future in Venezuela? OR anywhere else. We all understand the futility of telling your enemies what may happen + you just don’t do things like that.
Has anyone asked where is the UN on all of this? Every time there’s a situation, it’s always the U.S. Hell, we’re virtually the U.N. in of itself.
Is this happening before or after antifa is labeled a terrorist organization?
Would help end our dependence on the Middle Eastern oil, even it it is not the best quality stuff.
According to this, the shipments have already been blocked.
“Two Liberian-flagged, Greek-owned ships that “were en route to Venezuela carrying Iranian fuel, scrapped their deliveries after the U.S. threatened sanctions,” a senior U.S. official told Fox News.”

America does not need to involve itself directly in an assault on Venezuela. All America has to do is back someone who will. The surrounding countries are being very badly hurt by Maduro. I suspect that the US will give financial. logistics, training and intelligence support. When this is all done, America will probably back either a new Venezuelan regime or Venezuela’s’ incorporation into another country.
Unfortunately, America can probably no longer refine Venezuela’s oil as it is dirty crude and most refiners have retooled to refine fracked light, sweet crude. There are likely no buyers for Venezuela’s oil as it is expensive to refine and the current prices will not support buyers of that oil. So, putting Venezuela back on its feet will take time and probably never pay for itself. In addition, Maduro has stolen and sold most of the country’s other resources, like gold and foreign reserve currencies.
Exile all BLM/Anifa protestors to this chithole subsequent to Gitmo interrogation for useful intel.
A bone for the media........
It is the God-given natural duty to preserve and protect
God-given natural rights. The people have the perfect right to use force to overthrow a tyranny and establish natural rights. It is our duty to offer help in a rational way and amount.
Yes, let Venezuela solve its own problems. They elected the thug, let them remove him. Every time the US tries to “help” some other country with its tyrants, it never works out the way the policy wonks think it will.
Send Jack Ryan.
It's not like we don't have enough controversial issues cramming the table right now.
Push the economy and home security, etc.....winning issues!
Has "Venezuela" been a hot topic of conversation over bridge tables these past months? I don't think so.
I think I need an Exedrin.

I didn’t vote to do anything to or for Venezuela. I voted to stop our stupid bankrupting wars.
Somebody’s going to do something.
Our nation is dying, here, now. We need to stay out of Venezuela.
I thought we were energy independent for the last few years.
“Our nation is dying, here, now. We need to stay out of Venezuela.”
I recently saw a meme showing the presidents on the left and the wars or police actions they had gotten the US into one the right. All had a fairly long list. There was nothing next to Trump’s photo. Part of the reason for that is because Trump has frightened the stew out of our would-be enemies. (I like that.)
Our nation is not dying. If you look back through history you will find many times when there was civil unrest. But, as my mother pointed out when I was upset by the rash of riots...I think it was in the late ‘60’s...America is not a place where you can seize the radio and TV stations and the airport and declare yourself dictator. America is huge. All these little altercations are just a flash in the pan.
As for Venezuela. It is a cancer on the world. Leaving it untouched risks it metastasizing into a much larger problem which will directly menace America. I believe Trump will handle the problem through proxies. With the right proxy and the right backing, the operation to excise the cancer can be done with comparatively little blood, none of it American. Trump will merely make it worth someone’s while to shed their blood.
The Bush’s would send in the Marines. Obama would use drones. Clinton would have used a US-lead international force. Hillary would have made serious money and done nothing. I like Trump’s take on how to handle it.
Instead of Excedrin, I think I’ll have a glass of wine. I sure hope Trump doesn’t follow through on this. As you said, we have enough problems of our own right now. Nobody is worried about what happens in Venezuela.
