Rush Limbaugh is literally in the fight for his life as he continues to battle Stage 4 lung cancer, but it isnt quite game over for the conservative talk radio icon.
Im very confident that this is gonna go into extra innings, Limbaugh said Monday during his syndicated radio program, The Rush Limbaugh Show, using Americas pastime as an analogy to update his audience on his health.
It was in late January that we learned of the diagnosis, he said. That means we learned of a really tough opponent. So, it was time to go up to bat, time to walk to the plate, bat in hand, and that is exactly what happened.

GOD BE WITH HIM IN BODY AND SPIRIT!
Ditto
Rush, Kathryn and his Doctors are in my prayers. It is wonderful to see The Lords plan come to pass whatever His plan may be. May His will be done in all things .
We love you Rush!
Rush has always been an amazing Conservative. While over the years he has acknowledged God and moral truth on his program, he was not fully committed to Christ.
His brother, lawyer and author David Limbaugh, pretty much acknowledged this in the past on several occasions.
David is a staunch Christian, who has used talents to defend the Christian faith in books, articles, and radio/television appearances. David was heavily influenced by the genius of the late Ravi Zacharaias in coming to faith.
In this heartfelt piece, David eloquently addressed those who hate Rush and America, but also the need to reach out to God and to emulate His love.

I pray also that this illness has brought Rush closer to Jesus Christ.
Prayers
“I pray also that this illness has brought Rush closer to Jesus Christ.”
My prayer as well, both for healing, but even more that his knowledge of and relationship with the Lord Jesus would grow and deepen.....
God bless Rush. An American treasure.

RZ’s death was a huge loss to the world. But he was the impetus for so many to accept Christ, and was God’s Faithful Servant.
“I pray also that this illness has brought Rush closer to Jesus Christ.”
When Rush first announced his cancer diagnosis, he gave a strong and heartfelt testimony, which led us to believe that he had made a full commitment to Christ before his diagnosis.
