Footage posted online this week captured the moment a vandal sprayed graffiti outside a Lower Manhattan courthouse, right under the noses of several cops who do nothing but watch.
The video, posted by the Sergeants Benevolent Association on Tuesday and taken in broad daylight, shows the man tagging the base of a lamppost in front of the Surrogates Courthouse at 31 Chambers St., which had already been vandalized amid Occupy City Hall protests last week.
After the man finishes his scrawl, he strolls away, as three cops on the corner and four on the next block stand idle.
Watch this carefully, its not another frustrated COVID-19 excuse by de Blasio, the SBA tweeted. Nor is it an aspiring artist at work. You are watching a graffiti vandal add to the destruction of a NYC building just a short distance from City Hall and yes the NYPD is not allowed to make the arrest.

Thats no man. Some form of sub human. A real man wouldnt do that.
“New York...New York...a city...”
Democrat cities will become hellholes, people will flee and vote for what they fled in their new states.
They’ve already ruined Virginia, your state is next.

Hell on earth. Get out
Not new. But getting worse
They get what they voted for. I’m sure they like it.
Don’t arrest him. Just smash his hands and face with batons and boots.
FIDO policing.
F*** It, Drive On
AKA The Ferguson Effect.
And those aren't cops. Real cops wouldn't stand by gawking.
Cops know he’d be released in an hour so why bother?
In other words, the oath they all took don’t mean zip.
They've been told to stand down, and not make arrests in these cases. That's the politicians not wanting the people of New York to know the amount of crime that is actually occurring. No paperwork? It didn't happen. Too many arrests makes the city's leaders look bad you see, and that could jeopardize their jobs. The NYPD Union is beside itself, because cops don't like being told they can't do their job. It's frustrating as hell. Why do you think so many of them are retiring?
They took a sworn oath to uphold the law. Now they don’t bother because their bosses told them not to?
Would you work for someone who forbid you to do your job and to ignore your sworn oath, all while taking money from other people who pay to to perform your job?
Btw, I personally I wouldn’t work for Communist and or those who want America destroyed.
This tells me they’re only in it to collect tax payer money and make damn sure they keep those bloated pensions.
Have you ever worked in uniform? You are told to follow the last order given you, whether you like it or not. Unless the order is illegal, or it is a threat to your safety and others, you have to obey the order, and then file a grievance afterwards. You can't simply refuse to obey it, because you will be brought up on disciplinary charges. Been there, done that.
Why should a police officer give up their job, their seniority, their retirement benefits because of some stupid politicians? I'd sit back and watch those politicians destroy themselves instead of destroying my life. It's easy for you to make that decision because you're not in their shoes. Invest 15 years into the job, and then tell me you'd resign because the brass is licking the Mayor's balls.
It tells you nothing because you have no idea what their job entails. Walk in their shoes for a while. Go out to work every day, and not know if you'll be going home alive when your shift ends. At least part of that pension will go to their survivors.
This retard gets a “BLACK STUPIDITY MATTERS”.
I’ve probably forgotten more about law enforcement work, tactics and techniques than you ever knew. No offense though.
