Durham hired a bunch of Democrats prosecutors and has one indictment after a year: a threat against Schiff.
Pushing the fake investigation into campaign season where it could be dismissed as partisan was always the end game here.

If good people who believe in America see that there are no consequences for the felonies these people committed, no prison terms for felonies, then it will have a disastrously bad effect on this country.

I agree and politics isn't going to fix our problems. Young men will have to rise up and fight. I'll join them, but at my age that is the best I can do, and I'll do it gladly.

My money was always on we were being played. I was hopeful that I as wrong, but I think Barr was trying to find a way to undo the Obama damage without actually hurting his deep state buddies. Which is impossible.
So we shall soon find out. But this will dampen enthusiasm for Trump if they do nothing.
