Howdy, luvie.
Great to hear Smokey showed up but it would have been nice if she’d stayed around. That silly girl has no sense! LOL
I’m combing cats again tonight. I’ve been doing around a third each night but am going to try to get to all of them this time. Boring for me but they love the attention. :-)

Hi Kathy, I've been back home since Monday but had a great time at my Sisters.
She's going to be moving soon to Texas to be closer to her grandkids, she will be missed.

Howdy, Kathy.
I saw y’all had quite a bit of rain up there today. Glad to see it! You’ve needed good rainfall for a while.
We had a couple of brief showers this afternoon - - just enough to make it REALLY steamy after they stopped.
Man oh man, things are going a lot worse than you expected, aren’t they? What a mess!!!!! Getting your boss involved was a good thing. Love that she went to the program folks with it. Sounds like she’s not exactly happy with their “brilliant” idea. She should have sent the corrections to them, too, and let THEM take care of them. Then they can change the freakin’ system to something easier to deal with.

A very pleasant good Thursday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country.
How's everyone doing this morning?

YIKES! I didn’t know there was rough weather up there today. I had just a few minutes on the computer this afternoon before I had to head out to run errands. I checked the radar for our area to see if I could get things done in the dry but didn’t check out the rest of the country.
It looks like those four videos are all of the same tornado, by different storm chasers.
I’d like to ride with that first guy. He’s not afraid to get up close. LOL

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
Was the weather still good enough for an outing yesterday?

It was yesterday. We had a great time at Wichita Ridge. Today and for the next 3 days though we will be doing rides in the country. The Weather Service issued a Heat Advisory for our area through Saturday.

He sure wasn’t afraid to get close. I was afraid he’d get TOO close. I put it on Storm Chasers, but nothing was going on. Brett posted the link to these on his Twitter page.

Good idea to stay in the truck where there is AC. You and I have the same heat advisory.
Looks like Giz had fun today, though.

Looks like it was a beautiful day, and breezy too. The lake was choppy.
I thought you might have at least one more decent day since you’d said the heat advisory was for the weekend. It stinks that it’s moving in so soon.
From what I saw on tonight’s weather report, we could be under a heat advisory around this time next week. Not looking forward to that at all!

My kinda guy! LOL! I’d have gotten as close as he did if I was there. That’s the biggest part of the thrill!
Those guys must not be part of Brett’s storm chasing bunch but they sent the videos to him. He has them posted on the home page as well as a cool time-lapse of the tornado from the time it dropped until it fizzled out.

Ooo...I’ll have to watch that timelapse. Tomorrow. Meanwhile, I gotta go. It was nearly 5am by the time I could doze off last night in this heat and it’s only going to get worse. See ya tomorrow!

If only there wasn't the guilt thingy
I'd just stay in bed all day.
Of course, I'd HAVE to get up to get tea.
No way hubby would bring it to me. LOL!
How RUDE and unfeeling of him!
Hope all y'all have a GREAT day!
[nothing goes with Thursday]
(((hugs)))

“How RUDE and unfeeling of him!”
You are so right! Mrs. spel used to bring coffee to me in the morning. One morning I did not sit up to take the cup from her. I simply opened my mouth hoping that she would pour the coffee into my mouth.
She has NEVER brought me coffee again!
I agree with you: RUDE, unfeeling and uncaring!
