They used to be armed. Back when shootings didnt happen. Then shootings started and they were disarmed.
In WWII my father was an Army Air Corps medic in a drug dispensary at an air base in Spokane Washington when he got a phone called that a prisoner hat hit a guard with a shovel, taken his weapon, and said he was going to the dispensary to get drugs. Dad had a .45, got behind a desk, and waited for the man to come through the door. The man came up to the door when an MP stepped out from the building across the road and filled him full of buckshot, some of which came through the door and rolled across the floor.

Not sure what Walesa has to do with it, but self-effacing humor will never go out of style.

Not sure what Walesa has to do with it... I knew you'd have trouble understanding that.

I just heard from my son.
It was a suicide with a gun. No active shooter situation.

It was a suicide with a gun. No active shooter situation. So how are the speaking with the suspect?
Ouija board?
Yes I know, the first bits of information are often very wrong.

Im assuming the news reports are as accurate as they normally are at the early stages of a breaking story.
This happened in the barracks my son lives in, so hes pretty close to the situation. Im gonna go with his version until I learn otherwise.

I'll go with it too.
I called my niece as her husband works there only to find out that they are actually visiting his parents so they were well out of the way of any danger.
Glad to know that your son is ok.
