A predominantly Black group of heavily armed protesters marched through Stone Mountain Park near Atlanta on Saturday, calling for removal of the giant Confederate rock carving at the site that civil rights activists consider a monument to racism.
Video footage of the Independence Day rally posted on social media showed scores of demonstrators dressed in black - many in paramilitary-style clothing and all wearing face scarves - quietly parading several abreast down a sidewalk at the park.
Many of the protesters carried rifles, including military-type weapons, and some wore ammunition belts slung over their shoulders. Although African Americans appeared to account for the vast majority of the marchers, protesters of various races, men and women alike, were among the group.
One video clip showed a leader of the demonstrators, who was not identified, shouting into a loudspeaker in a challenge to white supremacists who historically have used Stone Mountain as a rallying spot of their own.
“I don’t see no white militia,” he declared. “We’re here. Where ... you at? We’re in your house. Let’s go.”

Back in the 60’s a group of Black Panthers walked onto the floor of the California state legislature while carrying rifles. The California Highway Patrol promptly arrested them and took them to jail. When they were being booked into the jail the law enforcement officers could find no criminal charges to book them for. They were all released.

Freepers who were calling for action on the President's part were just frustrated because of the riots and looting (and justifiably so).
But the President has handled this potentially explosive situation like a pro. Any action on his part would have been splashed all over the media with him looking like Hitler or Mussolini.
In fact, the media and the Dems were baiting the President at every turn...and he never took the bait.

Who are these people? Do they own actual businesses? Did they ever seriously consider moving their business but didn't because of the flag?

Q: Can I carry at Stone Mountain Park?
A: Yes. GeorgiaCarry.Org filed a lawsuit against the Stone Mountain Memorial Association. As a result they no longer have a local ordinance prohibiting carry at the park for people with a valid Georgia Weapons License.

Theoretically everyone had to have a Georgia Weapons License to open carry in pubic. Color me doubtful, and I similarly doubt anyone was checking.

They’ll throw their tantrums in safe spaces (even Stone Mountain, if there are enough cameras and cops), but most Americans go on with their lives as though they don’t even exist. Our elites have made a new deal with imported Hispanics to replace blacks in every aspect of our daily lives - and it is working. I’ll take these men as my neighbors over ANTIFA arsonists with improvised street weapons any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
