Trump at Mount Rushmore revisited

As I listened to President Trump’s July 3 speech at Mount Rushmore (White House text here, video below), I couldn’t believe how good it was. One measure of the speech is the campaign of falsehood undertaken by the press condemning it in unison. As I wrote (here) yesterday morning, I had only my own reaction to go on. Now I can commend the following columns to the attention of interested readers:

As Scott Johnson has observed, you can tell how great the President's speech was by the level of vitriol spewing from the MSM.

This speech needs to be repeated, word for word it is that good. Would have been a good time on the 4th but it wasn't. Most likely to avoid redundancy. But I would use it over and over until a saturation point.

That was one Hell of a great speech! Wow! What a President. He gives us strength to fight these leftwing Anti-American socialists.

This may be the best Presidential speech I have ever heard and I have heard many. Last evening robust Patriotism broke out in my city like I have never seen. The fireworks, purchased by private individuals, small, medium, large and outright spectacular began in the late afternoon and went until near midnight without pause. Some went into the heavens, taking our breath away. They were being launched from the North, South, East and West. We have never seen this before in this area. I thought to myself, “The silent majority is speaking tonight and it is not being filtered through a corrupt media.”

I was in the Black Hils area about a decade ago. Of course we went to Mt Rushmore. But the family went to the Crazy Horse monument still in progress.
