I’ve been in situations where the black person deliberately bumped me and then claimed it was I who bumped them, and then they tried to escalate the situation exactly the way I saw the two black women trying to goad the white couple into escalating in the video, daring them to do something. I would not be at all surprised if the 15 year old black girl had not deliberately invaded the space of the white woman and bumped her, and then confronted her with the intent to do exactly what went down, along with the video taping.
The situation was over when the couple was in the car, and backing out, and the black girl blocked the car and began beating on it, bashing it, intending to continue the confrontation, blocking their departure. She then charged at the white woman in a threatening manner, making violent threats, an assault. The white woman then was in fear for her safety, and under Michigan’s stand your ground law, had no duty to retreat, was justified in using her weapon.
Except one person got out of the vehicle, drew a weapon, and did not fire that weapon.
