Sheriff’s office has received threatening calls from people 'picking sides' over the incident
A white couple was arrested after at least one handgun was pulled on a black woman and her daughters during a videotaped confrontation in a restaurant parking lot in Michigan, authorities said Thursday.
Jillian Wuestenberg, 32, and Eric Wuestenberg, 42, were charged with felonious assault over the Wednesday incident, Oakland County Prosecutor Jessica Cooper said.
The confrontation was captured on cellphone video.
Takelia Hill, who is black, told the Detroit Free Press that her daughter asked Wuestenberg to apologize after she bumped into her outside of a Chipotle in Orion Township, about 40 miles outside of Detroit, but Wuestenberg instead started to yell at her.
The video shows Wuestenberg get in her car after the tense back-and-forth that included accusations of racism. Her husband, who was still outside the car, says, “Who the f---do you think you guys are?" to the family. One of the girls accuses him of being “racist” and “ignorant" and he walks back to the car.
“You can not just go around calling white people racist,” Jillian Wuestenberg says from the passenger seat. “White people aren't racist…I care about you.”

If I bump into someone...say,in an elevator...I say “sorry” just out of reflex,I don’t pause to ponder who might be at fault.That type of thing just isn’t a big deal to me.Don’t know what I’d do in this *particular* type of situation though.

Yes the white couple were menaced ...menacing is a crime.

There is good reason to carry BOTH pepper Spray AND a gun. Use whatever one you need. Pepper spray would have been perfect for this.
But even worse, even if fully documented to show you're completely in the right, it won't matter.

Would depend on the state. I think they’d be OK in Arizona, but don’t know about Michigan. Probably best to call the cops instead. But if I was on the jury.....

Summary: Maybe the pregnant woman’s mistake (legally) was that she exited the car.
Anyone in that situation probably should call 911 from inside the car. Then maybe this woman who was threatening and harassing this couple would’ve been arrested. Really, she still should be arrested and charged, if she hasn’t been, because she was making threats first.
This might’ve been a setup - she might’ve been hoping for a viral “Karen” video, and she never expected the pregnant woman to pull out a gun. lol
I also wonder how many other people who are relocating look at the ‘demographic maps’ easily found online to select where they want to move to.
I mean who would want to live near a sewage processing plant, a dairy farm or a group that makes it difficult for reasonable people to live near them?

Nothing good can come out of an interaction that starts like this, no matter what the races of the parties are.
Whoever calls 911 first, controls the narrative. This is something that the underclass understands very well. It is not infrequent that when a middle-class person pulls a gun in self-defense, the thug will be on the phone charging this white person with a hate crime.
Do not ever forget, the urban underclass has a much more thorough and deeper understanding of the law enforcement system than you do -- it's the environment they live in, and they swap useful information all day.
