Whites are not allowed in the Negro Football Leagues.
The NFL has forgotten who really pays their bills. What is the old saying? “Dance with the one what brung you to the dance.” Most BLM, Inc. supporters do not belong to that group.
All of the white players should have to go out on the field wearing shackles for the shame of their race and the crimes of the past.
There will be some sort of “Pledge...” recited at public schools for BLM. Guaranteed.
Oh, I’m sure the usual suspects literally have the shakes right now at sports withdrawl. Sports addicts have an unshakable bond, similar to what Democrats share with their ‘voters’. Nothing can break that bond.
You have to laugh at the NFL threads here, always with the same disclaimer about not disparaging the NFL, because it’s an escape. Yeah.
But it was first sung at a celebration of Abraham Lincoln. Isn’t he a racist now?

I’d like to see the NFL Football picks thread on this site go away. FreeRepublic stands for a Free Republic, it does not kneel in subjection to a bunch of black thugs that wish to destroy our way of life.
Any cops who pulls that duty willingly is disrespecting himself.
The NFL shows themselves to be only interested in topping the last horrible idea in how to “deal with the Kneel!”
I get it. I have already left the fold. I can’t be any angrier at the stupid leadership, owners and players who have screwed up the sport.

Politics of pandering aside, here are the lyrics. It was written at the end of the 19th century when former slaves were still plentiful and seems to be a call for them and their children to move past that, to move into a better future. Hard to find fault with the words here.

It’s over 100 years old and was known as the Negro National Anthem. It’s an uplifting hymn.

I didn’t know that there was a shortage of black nations that needed to be addressed. Somebody let Africa know.
It does beat “This Land Is Your Land”, I’ll give it that.
