Trump 2020 campaign raises $266M in second quarter of 2020

The president’s reelection campaign has set a fundraising record. On Wednesday, the campaign announced they had raised more than $266 million in the second quarter of 2020 in a joint effort with the Republican National Committee (RNC).

Approximately $131 million from this total came from the month of June alone, which is the most raised in one month since 2016. The campaign raised $155 million in the last quarter, which is an increase of 71 percent from the first to the second quarter.

The new record setting number comes as good news to the Trump campaign who has been out raised by the Biden campaign in the past two months. Biden and his team raised $81 million dollars in May and then in June it raised $141 million, which the campaign called “a jaw dropping amount of money.”

The recent surge in fundraising by Biden, however, seems to pose no threat to President Trump and the RNC.

“We actually have $265 million cash on hand and we started raising money very early for the president, and we are just getting started quite frankly,” said Kimberly Guilfoyle, national chair of Trump Victory Finance Committee

Over the past two years, the Trump campaign has hauled in more than$947 million. As November approaches, the Trump campaign said there’s no slowing down in sight as its set to hold an in-person fundraising event next week with each ticket costing nearly $600,000.

“We’re going to have in-person events with the president, we’ve got like three plans coming up,” said Guilfoyle. “Plus we are going to do a fantastic zoom event with the president that I think is going to get a lot of attention and interest in it as well. ”

Additionally, the RNC recently announced the hiring of 300 additional field staffers, which brings the Trump Victory Operation to more than 1,000 crew members. This nearly doubles the force behind the Biden campaign.

The Biden campaign is claiming higher numbers; whether they are actually correct.

Didn’t I recall Hillary way out spending Trump in 2016?

My thought is Biden is getting a lot of money from RINO’s who have pledged to support him.

My local liberal newspaper has this headline.

POLITICS
Biden edges out Trump, raising $141 million in June

I had not clicked on the article to see the details, but they clearly went with the good news that Biden raise $10 million more in June than Trump did.

Pulled from a couple sources (no one article gives all of the details).

Trump
April $62 million
May $74 million
June $131 Million
Total $266 million

Biden
April $60.5 million
May $81 million
June $141 Million
Total $282 million

Biden signed a joint fundrasing agreement in late April, presumably after all of his rivals dropped out.

My thought is a lot of corporate cash going to BLM is funneling into Biden’s campaign.

Huge money for a seat does not cut it with the ground floor Trump supporter. We love that he loves us, the deplorable commoners scrabbling by with honor despite the Corona tyranny, local government's failures to protect tax-payers and their properties from anarchists, being cowardly pussies who fold when told Boo!

We are terribly under-served by our elected representatives but it's not entirely their fault. People can only work with the information they have in their time. The "deep state", the bureaucratic framework of government that shouldn't have any devotion to any political party or side became labelled Deep State because the bureaucracy allowed itself to be subverted by the Democrat Party.

Because of their support for a Labor Union in the exact place one shouldn't be - government itself. You are supposed to be a patriot for America or a sub-contractor with no faith in it who should live elsewhere. If Trump wins re-election the forces of good marginally keeps an edge over evil. I strongly encourage all to be good Americans because I'm no longer sturdy enough to send all the traitors to Hell that need sending.
