Former “MythBusters” co-host Adam Savage has been accused of sexually abusing his younger sister in a new lawsuit.
The woman, now 51, claims that the abuse happened in the 1970s when she was between 7 and 10 years when they lived in Sleepy Hollow, N.Y “Beginning in or about 1976 and continuing until approximately 1979, Adam Savage, would repeatedly rape Miranda Pacchiana and force oral sex upon her, and forced Miranda to perform oral sex on him, along with other forms of sexual abuse,” the lawsuit, obtained by Fox News, alleges."

“While I hope that my sister gets the help she needs to find peace, this needs to end. For many years, she has relentlessly and falsely attacked me and other members of my family to anyone who will listen,” Savage said. “By spreading numerous untrue stories about us in pursuit of a financial bonanza, she has tortured our entire family and estranged herself from all of us. I will fight this groundless and offensive lawsuit and work to put this to rest once and for all.”

You guessed correctly. Many girls who suffer sexual abuse will make themselves unattractive to men. Many victims turn to food as a crutch.
Because no woman has ever lied about sexual assault.

If he can get other family members to go public with her accusations and extortion against them he wins the case.
in my day, that was called “playing doctor”, not abuse. But she is accusing him of intercourse and oral sex, which is not quite the same thing.
Lawyers love these kind of jackpots because they’re the only ones that win.

Hard to imagine kids even knowing or caring much about it all, much less doing it at age 8-10.
From that quote from Savage, sounds like the family is standing behind him and she might have a history of going after the entire family. If so, that’s good news for Savage, and I hope he doesn’t get immediately cancelled for this mere accusation.

She’s 51? That means she’s in menopause and mostly nutz. Before anyone attacks me for saying this, my reference is what happened to EVERY female in my family including my 4 older sisters and wife. They dun nutz for about 6 or 8 years then they settle out. Not one exception even with EVERY female on my in-law side. Not women’s fault nature slams them.
