I can believe that. I wore a mask into Costco and was winded by the time I pushed the cart back to my car. The only difference was the mask. It definitely puts a strain on breathing and people who have difficulty already, due to allergies, asthma, or other conditions should think twice about making it more laborious to breathe.

In NJ everybody wears a mask in the store - they are such good little obedient people! And there are so many karens!

These obedient people make it enforceabe!

There will be no herd immunity with such herd mentality!

None of the above. In the case of the church choir, singing. In the case of the salon, masks stopped the spread from talking.

As for 20% less oxygen, I can believe it. Wearing a mask is not pleasant and I have to consciously breathe deeper all the time.

Sure. We don't know how much infection was aerosol and how much droplets. But we do know that the church choir was widely spaced, no touching, large room, no masks with 80%+ infection. So aerosols are certainly possible. We also know the salon with close spacing and masks had no infections from two infected employees. No evidence of aersols there. But the humidity was probably higher.

One thing that is pretty certain about aerosols is that they do not cause infection at high temperatures and humidity. Higher than 85 at almost any humidity or higher than 70 at higher humidity.

In VA the governor is almost as bad as yours, black-face, baby-killing gun grabber. But he's deviously clever and he made his mask mandate unenforceable. It's a health regulation only which nobody can enforce. The result is a mixture, some stores requiring masks, especially in the suburbs. In other stores in my rural area nobody has masks, not even the employees.

Definitely when a mask is worn by a person walking outside, alone, and not passing anyone within 15 or 20 feet. I just smile when I pass such a person from across a street. Is such a person terrified, brainwashed or just woke?
