We must have no stigma, none, about wearing masks when we leave our homes and come near other people. Wearing simple face coverings is not about protecting ourselves, it is about protecting everyone we encounter.

Yes, herd immunity can be achieved in only two known ways: (i) a vaccine, which we don’t have; and (ii) large scale infection of the populace, from 60-90%+, depending on the trasmissivity.

No f’ing way, Mitch-I keep my immune system healthy and I want to develop herd immunity to the SARS and corona viruses-and I certainly won’t be doing that wearing a mask, breathing carbon dioxide and whatever else. I’m pretty sure I had a mild case of the Wuhan virus in mid-March, too...
