As face masks become a societal norm, many people are speaking out against those who are choosing not to wear them, and some critics say that wearing a mask may determine how smart you are.
John Lundin, a self-described environmental activist and author, recently tweeted, “A mask is not a political statement. It’s an IQ test.” His tweet was met with many comments of support.
A recent Gallup/Knight Foundation poll that asked, “In the past 7 days, how often did you wear a mask or cloth face covering outside your home?” showed that 30% of high school graduates, 41% of college graduates and 46% of postgraduates always wear masks.

I’m pretty sure wearing any mask underwater would work.
No it means you are dumb.
First, there is no law. Second, the mask does not protect you others. It even says it on the box of the N95 mask. Third, it cuts your oxygen and causes brain damage within a few seconds.
Finally it violates OSHA.
Perhaps, but I'm not going to wear one unless forced to. You have to wear one when entering the business premises, and when paying.
The rules don't say anything about the in between, and employees aren't going to enforce government edicts.

Especially if your governor/mayor/employer/school/etc.requires that you wear a mask.
I have not seen any RULES for the TYPE of mask. So, can I wear a Lone Ranger mask and still be in compliance ?
Do people who do not wear underpants think they are smarter than those that do?
Is pouring honey in your shorts a sign of genius?
Is calling everyone who doesn’t agree with you a racist or a homophobe a indication of intelligence?
So think about this. If a mask is a protective device, one person not wearing one in a group of four is 100% as effective as four out of four.
Pugs are goofy looking... even without a mask.
If you must go out, then wearing a mask to prevent spreading your disease to others is warranted. It is also what you would expect of others under the same circumstances.
