The Supreme Court is leaving in place a decision that rejected environmental groups challenge to sections of wall the Trump administration is building along the U.S. border with Mexico.
The high court on Monday declined to hear an appeal involving construction of 145 miles (233 kilometers) of steel-bollard walls along the border in Arizona, California, New Mexico and Texas.
The Center for Biological Diversity, the Animal Legal Defense Fund, Defenders of Wildlife, and the Southwest Environmental Center had challenged a federal law that allows the secretary of Homeland Security to waive any laws necessary to allow the quick construction of border fencing. Two separate issues - challenges to the use of Military Counter-Narcotics funds, and Military Construction funds - are still winding through the Courts. The Ninth Circus recently ruled against the use of Counter-Narcotics funds, but that is likely to be overturned.

Doesn’t matter. The Left will keep fighting, because nothing is ever settled until it is settled the way the Left wants it settled, and then it is settled until the Left wants to move further Leftward.
Someone in authority is going to need to cause a “constitutional crisis” by simply refusing to abide by a SCOTUS leftist decision, to affirm that the Court;s function is to define constitutionality, and not decide on which side should win in politics. The Louisiana abortion case would be as good a place to start as any, and better than most.

So for now all wall stuff is full speed ahead, about a mile a day.
Thank you. Things are so insane good news is really needed.
The Right is winning the abortion argument in the States, even though the SC keeps clinging to it. Eventually, we will get a conservative SC and overturn it.
Thanks for the ping.
