Joe Scarborough believes the Trump administration is lying in saying the president wasn't briefed about a reported Russian bounty on US soldiers in Afghanistan.
But if indeed the president wasn't informed of the reported Russian plot, on today's Morning Joe Scarborough offerered two execrable explanations for the omission: President Trump is either too "addled," i.e., demented, to make informing him worthwhile. Or, the president is a Russian "source," who couldn't be "trusted." That is tantamount to accusing President Trump of treason, of being a Russian spy.

I’m really tired of the media hiding behind the first amendment and dragging their enemies through the mud with no proof. They are using unnamed sources as an excuse to take down people they disagree with. Something has to be done. The media shouldn’t be able to throw whatever they want to the wall based on unverified leaks to see what sticks. Then the speaker comes out making accusations against Trump five minutes after the story comes out. Trump needs to have a serious press conference addressing this.
Trump is not so addled he can’t call Joe out as an admittedly suspected killer who has never been found not guilty in a judicial proceeding. If you didn’t do it Joe, why did you brag about it?
