Liz Cheney Twitter @Liz_Cheney If reporting about Russian bounties on US forces is true, the White House must explain: 1. Why werent the president or vice president briefed? Was the info in the PDB? 2. Who did know and when? 3. What has been done in response to protect our forces & hold Putin accountable?

Once a neocon, always a neocon.
This Cheney acts like she thinks she is in charge of the whole government.
Her name made her shoot up through up the ranks.
I’m beginning to think she should stop being so belligerent.
She reminds me a little of John Bolton.
Chill out, Liz. You are not President.
If I was on Twitter, I would Tweet back to Liz

Shes part of the GOP establishment, and doesnt do something like this without deliberation and consultation. It tells me the GOP establishment is trying to force Trump out, pressure him to not run for re-election and allow them to nominate a conventional Republican in his place. Pence or Nikki or Rubio or Jeb. The next few weeks will tell
We dont talk about what we are going to do in response to such matters. Are they suggesting we should attack Russia? The Dems and media are determined to start a Cold War.
[Youre making the same argument against Trump infrastructure platform that Ted Cruz, Rubio and othe GOP candidates made in the 2016 primaries. Maybe that traditional libertarian argument is right. But the point is, Trump won the nomination and the election on those infrastructure promises, they helped him win traditional democrat areas that dont vote for the libertarian message. Hes going to have a challenge in those regions because he didnt deliver - regardless of whether your libertarian arguments are right as a matter of theory]

Second, the existing infrastructure isn’t falling apart. Sinkholes aren’t opening up on interstates and bridges aren’t falling down with cars on them. The thing with infrastructure is that entropy sets in the moment it’s finished. Any brand spanking new thing starts falling apart very, very gradually. That’s why we have periodic inspections - to size up the integrity of the structure and figure out how much patching it needs. For small patches, partial closure is fine. For big problems, complete closure and a major detour might be necessary. But all of this stuff falls within routine maintenance.
Third, the best way to win votes in the Midwest is to bring jobs back and to deport illegal alien scabs. That is what he’s doing with the wall and tariff policies. That it’s been sidetracked with the virus is not his fault. The new infrastructure thing would be a massive boondoggle. It’s gonna cost tens of billions to build a glorified fence on the border. A big infrastructure project in the Midwest could cost trillions.
And how do you get the Midwest its money without doing the same for the rest of the country? Maybe we should dismantle the entire military and prepare to be ruled from Moscow or Beijing?
“...actively campaign against McConnell in the Senate primary to ensure that he went down to defeat, thereby ensuring...”
that the democrats will gain control of the Senate, and then Trump can really, really get his stuff voted in.
I can never, ever, understand people like you who are willing to cut off your nose to spite your face.
My point is, your argument against infrastructure spending didnt help carry Trump to victory in the industrial Midwest. His promise FOR infrastructure spending DID. You can argue against Trumps MAGA platform,
as a matter of policy, till the cows come home, but Trump won on it and hell have a harder time with re-election because he didnt follow through on it
I suspect you didnt support Trump in the primaries since you dont seem comfortable with some of his key MAGA messages. But thats a debate for another day.
Dem Hack Lisa Page even jumped in, to comment on Liz’s inane tweet.
Telling, that the Dems are getting their gigglies over this NY Slimes promoting tweet, Liz.

“Romans conducted decimations to set an example”
The Romans could absorb the loss. Trump can’t.
Isn’t this exactly what Connie Rice did when the Ruskies were bogged down in Afghanistan? Isn’t this a know and accepted part of modern warfare? I certainly assumed that this was happening. It would be news if it was not happening.
Is this the start of a GOPe Coup against Trump, suggesting that he’s losing control.
I speculated something like this could happen.
[I suspect you didnt support Trump in the primaries since you dont seem comfortable with some of his key MAGA messages. ]
* I’d have voted for any GOP candidate over Hillary. There are segments of the Trump base that would only have voted for Trump. But there are segments of the Hillary vote that would have voted for any GOP candidate but Trump. Their objections aren’t ideological - they’re just snobs. I’m OK with that. My guy (the anointed GOP candidate) won, and that’s all that matters.
I smell Romney.
[The Romans could absorb the loss. Trump cant.]
hey Liz instead of opening that vast large mouth of yours why not check with White House...Trump said he was not briefed, Pence was not briefed, Chief of staff meadows was not briefed, Both Russia and the TALIBAN said it did not happen
INOTHERWARDS YOU ARE A NEVER TRUMPER RINO AND hopefully a TRUMP GOP person primaries you!

The dead ones?
She is the ghoulish offspring of a ghoulish mass murderer, trying to keep endless wars going. No better than the Rats, Nazis or Commies.
Ok, lets get real. First the Chinese did the same. Second we did the same when Russia was fighting in Afghanistan. This story is stupid. We gave bin Laden...
...] Under CIA’s Operation Cyclone from 1979 to 1989, the United States and Saudi Arabia provided $40 billion worth of financial aid and weapons to almost 100,000 Mujahideen and “Afghan Arabs” from forty Muslim countries through Pakistan’s ISI.[99] British journalist Jason Burke wrote that “bin Laden’s Office of Services, set up to recruit overseas for the war, received some US cash.”[100] Bin Laden met and built relations with Hamid Gul, who was a three-star general in the Pakistani army and head of the ISI agency. Although the United States provided the money and weapons, the training of militant groups was entirely done by the Pakistani Armed Forces and the ISI.
