Hidin Biden doesn’t have any say in it. He will do as he is told. I can’t see any actual face to face debates happening.

No way will he dare to share the stage with the President.

The Dems will demand virtual debates. Trump will refuse.

No debates.

Listening to Biden stumble is painful. I can’t believe the Democrats are letting him represent them. I know they did it to get rid of Sanders, but at least Sanders could speak coherently.

I think the Dems will push for a debate via Skype or zoom (or whatever it is kids use to talk over computers). So he can stay in his basement and his helpers can feed him answers off screen.

In debates they are spaced more than 6 feet apart and away form the moderators. So covid-19 can’t really be used as an excuse for not having a debate.

There will be debates between Trump and Biden. I doubt they shake hands. :-)

There were some who said Hillary Clinton would be replaced before November and that she couldn’t possibly debate Trump on her feet for 2 hours. They were were all proven wrong.

The demonrats have already started talking about making the debates in remote locations, meaning Slo-Joe would be somewhere else.

That way they could feed him answers with a teleprompter so he wouldn’t look so stupid.

One thing is certain, no way will they let that house plant debate Trump!

they want virtual debates, so that they can more easily feed him the answers through an ear piece.

Most likely doesn’t even know who he is or where he is at. Any “statement” from demented joe comes from his worthless, mentally-challenged, integrity-free staff. How far the election process has fallen. Pathetic doesn’t begin to describe it.

Trump asked for 6 live debates. The Biden team at this time agreed to 3. But look for them to back off and make them cyber debates with Biden wearing an ear plug so he can repeat the words piped into him on the plug. This will be one of those rare elections that anyone who votes for Biden the tree stump will not be voting for him but against his opponent

Trump should agree to pre announced questions now so It is harder for Biden to quit.

I wouldn’t be surprised if debates don’t happen this year. Because, you know, COVID or some other excuse

Neither side has anything to gain from debates so if Biden doesn't find a way not to participate in one - and as you pointed out Covid is a handy excuse - I think Trump's campaign will. He's already talked about not participating because of media bias in the moderators. That would still work.

It was on Howie Carr on Friday - the Dems are laying the groundwork for no debates. Use the Virus as the first excuse - then say that Trump isn’t interested in a real debate only name calling.

Former Virginia Gov. Terry McCaulife is the brains behind this strategy.

My gut...Unless they put a bug in his ear and make him “repeat after me”....there will be no debates.
