New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal filed voter fraud charges Thursday against two Paterson city officials who allegedly engaged in a mail-in ballot scheme in connection to a special election in May.
Grewal levelled the charges against Paterson City Councilman Michael Jackson, Councilman-Elect Alex Mendez, and two other men after the Postal Inspection Service warned Grewal’s office that hundreds of mail-in ballots were found in a Paterson mailbox, InsiderNJ reported Thursday.
The attorney general’s Office of Public Integrity & Accountability (OPIA) began a probe after the Postal Inspection Service issued the warning. Paterson authorities decided to conduct the May 12 special election through mail-in ballots due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has reportedly killed more than 124,000 people in the U.S.
Only 13,557 of the 16,747 vote-by-mail ballots in Paterson were counted, a local NBC affiliate in New York reported in May. More than 800 ballots in Paterson were invalidated for appearing in mailboxes tethered together. One mailbox reportedly had hundreds of ballots tied together.
The board of elections disqualified another 2,300 ballots after concluding that the signatures did not match voting records.
One Paterson woman named Romana Javier, after NBC showed her a list of people who allegedly voted on her block, told the channel that she never received a ballot and did not vote. “We did not receive vote-by-mail ballots and thus we did not vote,” she said. “This is corruption. This is fraud.”
The potential for fraud as a result of state and local officials resorting to mail-in ballots has become a topic of conversation among conservatives. Twitter flagged one of President Donald Trump’s tweets for suggesting in May that California’s mail-in ballots will be “substantially fraudulent.”
Yep, millions of dollars were at stake and the winner gets to pocket a bunch of it.
The Presidential election process is defined in federal law. But the current President's term ends on Jan 20, no matter what.
There is no reason to be thinking about postponing the election. It was held during the Civil War. Nothing happening now is going to stop it.
Contacted all my representatives with voter fraud concerns. The fix is in. If they can riot, loot, and destroy without consequences then there are no consequences for cheating in an election.

The monstrous coronavirus would have been a lot less monstrous if Governors Cuomo (NY), Wolf (PA), Whitmer (MI), Murphy (NJ), and Newsome (CA) hadn’t sent all those infected elderly patients back to nursing homes to spread the infection. They should all be prosecuted for negligent homicide.

People think that because they meticulously check the signatures on the envelopes here in Oregon it makes the system foolproof. Not true Its who COUNTS the votes, not who votes.
There will never again be opposition to socialism in a mail in only state. The entire staff of the County Recorder's Office is packed with communists. So it is not divided in to a traceable record turned in by individual precincts with diverse witnesses meticulously counting ballots. Just a few people behind closed doors saying So-and So got this many votes

There are too many regulars on FOX that show that FOX is hedging their bets and will never have a signature point of view, but instead push “fair and balanced” as their mask for wanting to have it both ways and hedge their bets on everything. Still the incomparable standout is Tucker Carlson, then Laura, then Hannity,and lately Lara Logan—then formerly “Comedy” stalwarts Gutfeld, and Watters . The rest merely makes FOX look like a more acceptable CNN..

Yes, and considering this was filed by fascist Gov.Murphy’s AG it’s just too suspect and “too good to be true” as an attempt “right out of the box” to “combat” voter fraud. It’s as though this early example is all they need to proceed and move forward with the more substantial fraud, sure to come. Your assessment is right on the money, and I am from NJ.
One vote per person and voting in person with ID card of some kind, and indelible ink stamped on hand or finger to prove one voted.
