The folks in that area are going what they've always been doing: fighting with each other.
Except for the K.S.A. They have several thousand Americans working and living there in the petroleum and natural gas industries. There are American Air Forces there protecting the petroleum and natural gas fields both on and off shore.
Safest place to be in that area of the world.

For those of us not “in the know” of insider jargon, does your “K.S.A.” refer to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia?
I assume it has no relation to anything in Iron.

Heres the guy who wrote it.
Headlines are very often not written by the article's author. Newspapers (and maybe AP) have "headline writers."

Personally, I always assume “Rod from God” until further evidence proves me wrong.

Shirley there are experts here that can determine if it’s an implosion, or an explosion?
To: ClearCase_guy
Headline? The blast was struck by a site?
My head hurt after reading that headline.
Was something lost or gained in a translation?

Same here, lol!!
Think the AP needs to train their writers to take better aim before launching any headline into print, since this one ( actually an ASSline) created such an explosion of confusion!

“Wasnt there a coincidental finding of radioisotopes just the other day?”
When this was first being reported, there were reports of ‘tasting/smelling metal’made me think of the series Chernobyl.

Back in the day there were cooy editors who would review the reporters illiteracy and try to make sense of it. Now, "I's rights it, den I's publicish it!" Thank you DNC Run schools.

The locals reported hearing a “sisss”. Then came the “boom”, followed by a “bah”.
They thought it was just another sheep exploding.
