Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney posted a photo of former Vice President Dick Cheney sporting a face mask on Friday and took a shot at the manhood of people who refuse to wear face coverings in a seeming jab at President Donald Trump.
Liz Cheney, the No. 3 House Republican, posted the photo her father as lawmakers push harder for their constituents to wear face masks to limit the spread of coronavirus. Trump has been loath to wear a mask, despite the advice of public health experts. "Dick Cheney says WEAR A MASK. #realmenwearmasks," the younger Cheney tweeted Friday along with a photo of her father wearing a mask.

My husband is a heart transplant, ten years out and I believe Cheney is about the same. My husband does wear a mask when he is in public places and so do I. Probably not as careful as we should be but to tell you the truth, my husband thinks he is being a weenie when he DOES wear a mask. Our transplant doctor told us that three of their transplants have had COVID, two were fine and did not need hospitalization, the third one was in the hospital for several days but released and has recovered.
Mom is 96 with a compromised immune issue — myasthenia gravis. She’d NEVER wear mask — believes in “live free or die”. When we tease her about wearing a mask, she does this dismissive “CUH!” noise. She’s from “sturdy New England stock”, and won’t buckle. When she sees videos of the Asian population living their lives in masks, she says they look like “bugs crawling around the city”.
I thought Liz was on trump’s side at one point. What happened?

What a lady and definitely from a tough generation. Is she on immunosuppressed drugs? I remember shortly after my husbands transplant and able to go out in public, we asked our transplant team for a temporary handicap sticker.....they laughed and said, “we encourage walking.” Then when he went in for a checkup, they said.......”no more masks in public, you must acclimate to the germs around you, you were given a heart to live a normal life, so start living it.”
Will someone please inform Wolfe Blister that the life and death matters happening in the various states and cities across the country are the first responsibility of the governors and mayors of those respective states and cities. It is they who are failing and not President Donald J. Trump. President Trump is giving them plenty of new rope and watching them hang themselves. BTW, they are all Democrats and have been failing for decades.
