A federal appeals court decided 2-1 Friday that the Trump administration violated the law when it used military funds to build a wall on the Mexican border.

The U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals said the power of the purse belongs to Congress, and the administration lacked constitutional authority to transfer the military money. Two Democratic appointees were in the majority. A Trump appointee dissented.

Interesting. Was it in their last approved budget? Oh wait, Congress doesn't actually write budgets anymore, they just pass resolutions to give the same amount as last time plus more without specifics. I'd say they've delegated that authority then.

POTUS is making it more conservative. This is why his second term is vital. If Biden gets in it all gets turned back to the other direction.

I think SCOTUS already ruled previously that it was OK to transfer.
As usual, Trump is following the law but the left doesn’t like it, so the find judges that don’t care about the law. Just their ideology.
