No these are young men that I worked with who gave grudging support to him and now are clutching their pearls because he is calling Covid, Whoho virus or whatever and feel like they are backing a clown rather than leader.

We have a winner. I’ve heard ‘soft’ women Trump voters who have said just that. They don’t love Trump, but voted for him and like what he’s done with the economy. But they are tired of the 3+ years of turmoil and think if Trump’s off the stage it will all end. They see Biden as a safe nothing/nobody candidate whose election will stop the madness.
I can’t believe the media still thinks that most people fall for these propaganda “polls”.
OK, I am definitely a “glass half full” sort of a guy and I believed/hoped Trump would win in 2016 although I prepared my self for a loss.
On election night I tuned in about 9 pm est just to see if it would be close and was amazed to see Trump with a lead in the popular vote. The rest is history of course and I was thrilled with his winning and was on an emotional high for weeks and weeks after his stunning performance.
That said I believe is one of the more accurate pollsters and his methodology is consistent across all his polling.
Seeing these results has caused me to feel real concern for the very first time in this election. I do not believe Trump cannot turn these numbers since he has time but he best get moving to counter the feelings these Americans have. Security is going to be the most if not tied with the most important issue, the economy.
He is doing fine with the economy in the sense he can’t do any more but one cannot say he has done all he can with the disorder and outright violence we are seeing. I am well aware of where it is taking place and that the Left is encouraging it and blaming Trump and I do not have the answer but I feel strongly that he needs to get proactive and do it NOW!!
And many Republicans are comfortable with Biden, because they see him more as a Centrist, and not like the AOCs of the world.
But what they don’t realize is that it ain’t gonna be Biden running the show, it will be the AOCs of the world who will run Biden’s Administration, he will just be a figurehead.
And Trump’s Campaign and the RNC, needs to get that message out. At this point, IMHO, it’s their only chance.

Trump’s being evaluated on what the vast majority feel that the facts show. Period.

You can only “be had” if you fell for the scam. I knew their strategy many years ago, and I suspect you did, as well (I’ve read some of your posts, and you do not strike me as someone who could get played by the lefties).
I tend to ignore most polling until very near the election...especially media sponsored polls. Rasmussen is solid, however, and their performance speaks for itself.
Are their results accurate now? No idea. It certainly seems unbelievable (although Obama winning twice was unbelievable as well).
Is it possible that people are simply afraid to tell pollsters that they support Trump? Very possible..especially in light of the current environment.
