Former FBI director James Comey told President Obama that the 2016 conversations between Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak and incoming national-security adviser Michael Flynn were not criminal in nature, according to notes from former agent Peter Strzok released by Flynns legal team.
The page of notes was taken by Strzok appears to describe a January 5, 2017 meeting of President Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, and national security officials. This meeting occurred amid accusations that incoming Trump administration officials had colluded with Russian operatives. Strzok was not present at the meeting, and it is unclear what record of the meeting he consulted in taking the notes.
Strzok writes that P, presumably President Obama, asked, Is there anything I shouldnt be telling transition team?
Strzok records that D, or Director Comey, responded Kislyak calls but appear legit.
ALSO JUST IN: Flynn legal team files a page of Strzok's notes, which appear to describe the Jan. 5 meetign with Obama and natsec team

In transcripts of conversations between Flynn and Kislyak released on May 29 of this year, Flynn is recorded asking the Russian ambassador not to escalate tensions in response to U.S. sanctions. Those sanctions were implemented by the Obama administration following reports that Russia attempted to interfere in the U.S. general election.
Strzoks notes also indicate that VP Biden mentioned the Logan Act during the meeting, although the context of Bidens remark is unclear. The Logan Act of 1799 forbids U.S. citizens from intervening in disputes with foreign nations without authorization. The law has been cited only twice in U.S. history in two cases in the 1800s and no one has ever been found guilty of violating the statute.

Has Comey been tweeting lately?
Citizen VS United States.
One has endless time, resources and money and the other doesn’t. Yep, sounds fair to me.
Flynns first legal team from Eric Holders firm charged Flynn 6.2 million bucks these bastards did all they could to bankrupt him these bastards are evil to the core!! They dont give a shit about 30 years of service in our military they despise our military SND we have ALL seen first hand just how ALL other generals jump right to their DEEP STATE ways OR they get the message they will end up just like Flynn!!
Yes, a big part of this was that his law firm was deeply mired in the swamp. He was used to working with them, but he may also have figured that having a legal team with establishment ties may help him. They led him down the wrong path. He was trying to play ball, but it didn’t gain him any traction.
They both are tough on Iran.
Should we hold to the same standard when some poor kid is railroaded into a guilty plea by a corrupt prosecutor threatening life and withholding exculpatory evidence? If the prosecutor is found out, I guess we just say, sorry kid, you pled guilty. Too bad.
Yep,people that say Flynn shouldn’t have plead guilty lead a very sheltered life.
Plugs slide into dementia has been going on for years.
When they are threatening your Son, and your legal representation is part of the Cabal and bleeding him dry, what the heck do you expect?
Not for long.
Happens all the time when you are stuck with a legal aid atty.
He had a legal defense fund.
Yes, sadly, it does.
when the goverment mafia is after you its probably the lesser of two evils
I thought Coney said he never talked to Barry.
I.e. person gets charged with misdemeanor. Atty and ADA work out deal to reduce to disorderly conduct. Which is a violation not a criminal offense in NYS.
He pleads to it. Judge knows its BS and court gets money for fine.
Lobotomy Joe is on record denying he was aware of actions against Flynn
97 percent
More than 97 percent of federal criminal convictions are obtained through plea bargains, and the states are not far behind at 94 percent
over charging and threats work to get someone to plea
