Member when the media said every special election spelled DOOOOOOM for the GOP in 2018? Notice that there is NOTHING about this anywhere.
The typical "concerned" trolls that liked to come on here and post various GOP special election losses for dog catcher in a random Blue State are SILENT when we have a result like this. This was a 38 point win in a swing district and the media is SILENT.
I member.
Thanks for good report!
How can this be Presiident Trump is down 15 points to slo joe
That being said staten island is almost a seperate country compared to nyc
AOC won 60 something percent of democrat vote......just unbelievable...this after she cost that district thousand of jobs!!!
Is there something about Nathan McMurray that voters did not like?
Well thats good news
Highly un-educated voters.
I live on Staten island I’m pretty sure this isn’t our district. A Democrat won
we are going to win it back. Next time we won’t put an ex-convict up on our side
Do you know what the vote count was in the last election? Just curious about participation rate.
I wouldn’t have been able to give a good guess win or lose. What to look for now is if after the census results are official, her district is redrawn to force her out in 2022.
Chris Collins (R) 140,146 (49.1%)
Nate McMurray (D) 139,059 (48.8%)
This is extraordinary. He beat the combined field by more than 100 percent. He more than doubled them up.
This is western NY.
2018 was something of an aberration given Collins personal problems. Collins won in 2016 with 67% and in 2014 with 71% of the vote. Trump won by 24 points in 2016. The district is considered the most right leaning district in NY.
Still, this is an impressive win, better than the Trump margin in 2016. It bodes well for Nov. Reps are energized.
I think the AOC results ought to be looked at much, much more closely.
If she wond I want to know where the votes truly came from.
She is a Seperatist, a Socialist without a rationale for supporting that position and I think basically she may be a Marxist. Who in their right mind would vote for her?
Besides she is often incoherent...perhaps a Biden Love Child?
AOC slugs are braindead
Does this include the absentee ballots?
1/3 the amount of votes?
“Does this include the absentee ballots?”
Those will be showing up for weeks!
You don't know that district. It's filled with straight-up communists.
