And guess who Russia will support? Their Orthodox brethren.

And Turkey is in NATO. (Why?!?!?!?!)

The Turks are vastly better prepared and equipped for a war than the Greeks. That’s been true for years.

By the way, Turkey has 71 million more people than Greece.

More like Trojan War part VI. Turks v. Byzantines, Greek War for Independence, First Balkan War, and Greek-Turk war after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire.

After Desert Storm I noticed that Arabs retreat and surrender a lot - not just then. Then they sneak around and plant cowardly bombs.

Was I asleep and missed something? Is the Ottoman Empire rising again?

Those “soldiers” look like a miltia.

A cluster-boink for everyone involved. Greece PO’d the entire EU and the US, every chance they got for the last 30 years!

Greece has NO allies and the Turks have ALL of Islam.

I hope they are not foolish enough to start a war. The last time the Greeks invaded Turkey it turned into a disaster--the Greek Orthodox inhabitants of Turkey were "transferred" to Greece (some of them only spoke Turkish).

I was in Greece 40 years ago at the time of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. For a couple of days that dominated the headlines. Then it was back to the usual fare--every day headlines denouncing Turkey for some violation of Greek rights.

If only they hadn't lost the battle of Manzikert.
