So what’s the story this will be a senate seat pickup this year? That’s a good thing. Right? :-)
There’s another Democrat somewhere that’s having some troubles in the news and hopefully we can take advantage of that
Another senator that is.
About a month before the general election several former cheerleaders will come forward saying that Tuberville made improper advances to them.
I hope to God theyve done their homework in AL this time.
That clinches it. I was for Sessions because he seemed a better bet to beat Jones. If Tuberville gets better numbers than Sessions vs Jones, then Tuberville is the man for the nomination.
Sessions is against the H1-B "flood the country with socialist immigrants" scheme,
BUT he's been shown to purposely not follow through with what he says,
and... he... is... OLD. Like Biden Old.
Jones is a leftist scum.
No good choices. Maybe Sessions so that the deadbeat American worker-hating scumbags in Congress - and the same in the Trump Administration - get the message.
(Not that any of them ever get ANY message.)
Sessions will lose. That is why it is imperative, he is not nominated.
Come on Alabama, you have inflicted this inbred, midget moron on this country enough. Ease up.
So Jones is likely toast no matter who wins the primary.
Tuberville is outside the margin of error and Sessions is especially compromised.
Q said to trust him... So I definitely don’t. Like Wray... He’s a deep stater Go Tuberville!!
Either one will easily beat Jones, who voted for impeachment.
Now about that wall???
Tuberville will betray us on immigration. Sessions was always a solid conservative vote when he was in the senate. He was definitely the wrong person to be AG - He’s too honest for today’s toxic DOJ. I expect Tuberville to win, because all of the Auburn fans will vote for him, but I expect him to be another Richard Shelby - a weak reed when you need a vote.
We need this seat. Looks like we are going to lose Arizona & Colorado. And Maine is a toss-up.
Tuberville or Sessions - it won’t matter in November. That seat is a GOP pick-up.
Sessions was a staunch conservative during his time in the Senate - but as AG, he was an abject failure. In many ways, his lack of action led to delays in the Trump first term agenda getting thru.
I fear his return to the Senate. I somehow can picture him turning into a Romney-like clone who (pending Trump’s re-election) will side on the sidelines and take shots at Trump on a weekly basis.
Alabama needs new blood in the Senate.
I’d go with Sessions. He’s already an experienced hand who knows how to legislate. Tuberville knows how to coach football. Two different skill sets. I don’t give a damn how well he did as Trump’s AG. He signed on to combat illegal immigration, not fight the deep state, the latter of which he was singularly bad at. But legislating, he can do and has done, and should be trusted and respected enough to be allowed to do again.
Looks like Tubbs will be the next US Senator from our state of Alabama. ANYTHING, ANYONE, SOMEBODY BETTER THAT JONES!!! That leftist cow, baby murdering abortion voting fool dimocrat pig has got to GO!!!
Sessions was an idiot for recusing, no doubt. But he is likely a far stronger gen election candidate.
a good Tube versus a failed “boob”.
In 2010, Tuberville was a co-defendant with John David Stroud in a lawsuit brought against TS Capital LLC, which the two had founded. The lawsuit was filed by investors and alleged that Tuberville and Stroud co-managed a hedge fund that defrauded investors of $1.7 million. In October 2011, the Business Conduct Committee of the National Futures Association, a self-regulating industry organization, took “emergency enforcement action” to permanently bar the firm from soliciting, accepting, transferring or disbursing any funds from investors. Stroud was found guilty in August 2013 of securities fraud, and was ordered to pay $2.1 million in restitution and serve 10 years in jail. The case against Tuberville was settled on October 10, 2013, but terms were not disclosed.[
Tuberville is a carpetbagger who just moved to Alabama two years ago.
