Things must now be *ussified in Brooklyn as evidenced by all the diversity in the old neighborhoods. In my day if you were found in the wrong neighborhood you caught a beating. I once got lost on the subway and got off to see where I was. As soon as popped my head out of the station six diverse guys who were on a stoop across the street spotted me and got up. I ran back down, jumped the turnstile and luckily got on a train that just about to pull out. They were just coming down the stairs when it was leaving. You probably would have just asked them for directions.
