Attorney General Bill Barr during a Fox News interview with Maria Bartiromo said that there soon may be "developments" in Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham's investigation into the origins of the Russia probe.
"In terms of the future of Durham's investigation, you know he's pressing ahead as hard as he can, and I expect that we will have some developments hopefully before the end of the summer," Barr said in the interview today.
Durham's investigation has slowed as a consequence of the coronavirus crisis, the attorney general said. When Bartiromo asked about a grand jury, Barr declined to divulge whether one has been impaneled.
"I don't want to suggest there has been or is a grand jury, but it is a fact that there have not been grand juries in virtually all districts for a long period of time, and also people have been reluctant to travel for interviews and things like that," Barr said.

I was disappointed that stuff didn’t come out before the 2018 election — I had hoped it would help us win the House.
I had expected this stuff would come out well before the 2020 election — we really need to win the House.
If this stuff gets rolling in 2021, I don’t see the point. If we don’t have the House, we can’t do much of anything.
They are not really protecting Biden so much as they are protecting the Kenyan from Indonesia and their role in his usurpation.
What I found most striking is that he admitted that if the Democrats re-take the government, these investigations will be over and no one will ever be held to account for their crimes.
Well, we all know that - what I found striking is that he sounded like he couldn’t care less.

How many times have they changed the date? The last I heard (on Hannity) it was going to happen in late spring. Now the end of summer? What a joke. Its never going to happen.

What’s so dreadfully hilarious in a macabre sort of way is that the entire coup against Trump is exposed in several best selling books by the likes of Jarrett & Smith. All AG Barr has to do is give them a quick read if he’s having trouble connecting the dots.
